Don’t be surprised the devil also quotes the Bible! Every first Sunday of Lent, the gospel, usually a passage on the temptations of Jesus, presents a dialogue between Jesus and the devil, where we see the devil quoting and using words of holy scriptures to tempt Jesus. This reference from scripture is a classical example that shows that even the Word of God can be used to deceive when in the hands of the wrong person. In 1 Peter 3:18-22 we see how Peter uses the story of Noah and the flood in Genesis 9 to explain the saving power of christian baptism, but today this same story is used to propagate satanic life styles and perversions, thus creating confusions. If you wish to know read slowly…
Genesis 9:8-15
God said, ‘Here is the sign of the Covenant I make between myself and you and every living creature with you for all generations: I set my bow in the clouds and it shall be a sign of the Covenant between me and the earth. When I gather the clouds over the earth and the bow appears in the clouds, I will recall the Covenant between myself and you and every living creature of every kind. And so the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all things of flesh.’
POINTS FOR REFLECTION
1. Child of God, the rainbow 🌈is a natural phenomenon which the biblical authors expressed symbolically as the sign God’s covenant with Noah never to destroy the earth again with water, have today become a sign used to promote and identify inordinate sexual perversions or orientations: LGBTQ. How this came to be used as their flag or logo have a queer history. If you’re interested in the history click to read.
Central to the reason for their choice of the rainbow is because is represents peace and harmony, which are themes drawn from biblical interpretation of Genesis 9 that the bow facing upwards signifies the laying aside of the divine weapon that orchestrates the end of the divine afflicted punishment on the world. Meanwhile historical records have it that the first and foremost symbol of the gay movement is a PINK TRIANGLE 🔺️; the pink color symbolizing sexual pleasure.
History has it that the first LGBTQ flag contains pink, but for “problems associated with production” it was removed, while indigo was replaced with blue. (cf Encyclopedia Britannica) In my view, I think it was changed for its negative symbolism, because that negativity- perversion- still defines the movement but they feign from it in order to deceive, create confusions and pursue civil rights. Sadly many christians have joined them. Something the Bible in Ephesians 5:3 warns never to be mentioned among us.
2. The second biblical quote is 1 John 4: 7-8 that says: Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. They have distorted Christian understanding of love to the extent they claim ‘love is queer, and God is queer’. And the unsuspecting person will be led astray, the way a 17 year old girl that approached me at the confessional was lured into lesbianism by a 41 year old lady who told her they are ‘expressing love’ and I could not convince her that what she was experiencing is not love. To know what clearly distinguishes Christian teaching on love from this perversion read my post on LOVE.
3. The third is ‘Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God’ (Mark 12,17). This verse of the bible is cited to encourage indifferentism in religious or moral issues. In simple terms indifference means ‘anything is okay so far no one is hurt’. This have made christians today turn into pro-abortionists, pro-LGBTQ movements, practice syncretism- they see no problem being christian and wearing talisman, follow horoscopes, and use tarot cards, or visit diviners and seers, etc. For a proper understanding of this biblical the texton giving to Caesar read my post on: FAITH AND POLITICS
TASK: Make it a point of duty to read a portion of Scripture each day in order to familiarise yourself with the word of God so as to be prepared to outdo satanic tactics. Pay attention also to the literature you expose yourself to: both the kind of music, books, preachers or persons you listen to, that you may not be deceived. Be careful about social groups (both virtual and concrete ones), because the devil has upgraded his game to hunt and slave souls.
Thanks. It was enlightening
Thanks my dear…
