THE MOTHER OF A PRINCE WHO IS HEIR TO THE THRONE IS CALLED WHAT? A Prayer Reflection for the feast of the Queenship of Mary.

Your response to this question shall determine your openness to the Truth. The  Queenship of Mary celebrated in the church today, and the continuous honor and invocation of Mary as Queen of Heaven is a doctrine well-rooted in scripture. In fact, whether we acknowledge this or not, we do nothing more or less because God who is the First and Last (Alpha and Omega), the One Who was, Who is and is to come was the first to honor and crown Mary as Queen for eternity. If you are still confused, read the Word of God slowly.
In the Old Testament it was foretold (C.f Isa. 9:1-7):
“…For there is a child born for us, a son given to us and dominion is laid on his shoulders; and this is the name they give him: Wonder-Counsellor, Mighty-God, Eternal-Father, Prince-of-Peace. Wide is his dominion in a peace that has no end, for the throne of David and for his royal power, which he establishes and makes secure in justice and integrity.”
And in the New Testament, that prophecy was fulfilled in Lk.1:32-33.
“…You are to conceive and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Highest. The Lord God will give him the throne of His ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob forever and his reign will have no end…”
POINTS FOR REFLECTION
1. Mary’s coronation as Queen of Heaven is a divine action deduced from scripture, not some fabrication.  She merits this favor because of her son, Jesus Christ our Lord Who is king not just in heaven but also on earth for He was born in the lineage of Kings; and also, because of her humble submission to the Word of God (Lk. 1:38).
2. The prophecy from Isaiah describes the son to be born, among other great names, as “Prince of Peace” whose dominion is the peace that is widely extended and without end. This dominion extends to the throne David.
3. This prophecy was fulfilled when the angel Gabriel explains to Mary that her son to be born must be named Jesus because he is of divine origin and heir to the throne of David.

4. No wonder after her death and assumption into heaven, God the Father, the Son, and the Holy spirit crowned her as queen. The sign of her coronation was what John of Patmos saw in his vision of heaven when he saw a woman dressed with a crown of twelve stars on her head (Rev.12:1). To be sure this woman is no other person than Mary the vision presents her as a pregnant woman in labor. By this sign, the prophecy and fulfillment find their connection.
TASK: Have you discovered the answer to the question above? If yes, you are open to the Truth. If no, open up yourself to the truth.
For you that have opened your heart to the Truth. I want to tell you something: Truth is life (John 14:6) and the Truth sets one free (John 8:31-32).
I pray for you: May this Truth you discovered today fill you with life: bringing back to life anything dying in you and set you free from any bondage: physical and spiritual in Jesus name. Say an Amen filled with faith! Say it like Mary: let it happen to me according to your Word (Lk. 1:38).
